Breaking News on the Senate Amnesty Bill |
This just in from Steve Elliot of Grassfire.net:
The house leadership just announced
that they will not succumb to pressure from the Senate
to fast-track the amnesty bill. Instead House Speaker
Hastert says the House will conduct
"field hearings" on the amnesty bill. Hastert
said, "I'm not putting any timeline on this thing,
but I think we need this thing done right."
|
| The bill passed by the senate is not just amnesty, it's
AMNESTY plus benefits. This would have never come from
the senate if we had repealed the 17th
amendment to the constitution. |

ICE Arrests About 2,000 Illegal Immigrants |
Operation Return to Sender which began May 26, has
resulted in the arrest of nearly 2,100 illegal immigrants
across the country. The raids targeted child molesters,
gang members and other violent criminals, as well as
people who sneaked back into the country after a judge
threw them out.
So far this operation has caught more than 140 immigrants
with convictions for sexual offenses against children;
367 known gang members, including street soldiers in
the deadly Mara Salvatrucha, or MS-13; and about 640
people who had already been deported once, immigration
officials said. The numbers include more than 720 arrests
in California alone.
More than 800 people arrested already have been deported.

What You Don't Know About the Immigration Bill |
"Guest workers. The term is
really a misnomer, because most guest workers would
receive an automatic right to apply for a green card
and remain. The Senate bill authorizes 200,000 guest
workers annually, plus their spouses and minor children."

A citizen's primer on immigration reform |
A common sense translation of politicians' doublespeak
on the illegal-alien issue.
"The American people are about
to get "Bushwhacked"! The Republican-led House
of Representatives is our only hope against a runaway
president and squishy Senate leaders who have joined
with Democrats in an attempt to ram a disastrous immigration
bill down our throats." |

Minuteman's Simcox Slams Senate Bill |
| Chris Simcox, president of the Minuteman Civil
Defense Corps, issued the following statement on the
passage today of an illegal alien amnesty bill by the
U.S. Senate:
"The vote to give amnesty to
millions of illegal aliens by the United States Senate
today, should it pass into law, would ensure that the
status quo is maintained: the borders would remain wide
open and the attractive nuisance of endless welfare
and social programs at the expense of the American taxpayer
would remain." |

Mexico's Fox Praises U.S. Immigration Vote |
| Proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the United States
Senate passed an atrocious bill, it has now be endorsed
by the President of Mexico, Vicente Fox. |
Hours after the U.S. Senate approved
sweeping immigration reforms, Mexican President Vicente
Fox praised the vote as a "monumental step forward"
in the relationship between his country and the United
States
Again I say we would not have got this garbage from
our senators if we had repealed the 17th
amendment to the constitution..

Do you think El Presidente Bush is
going to
actually secure the border? |
The answer is no! Not on your life. El Presidente
Bush could have the border secured in week had he wanted
to. The fact is this should have been done September
12, 2001.
Does El Presidente really think the American People
are dumb enough to fall for this dog and pony show of
sending a few thousand unarmed National Guardsmen to
border to build fences?
This is just a political diversion to help Bush in
getting his illegal alien amnesty program passed through
the senate.
Don't we already have "guest worker program"?
If not, then who is legally obtaining green cards if
not guest workers?

George Bush may be an Idiot!
|
If there are so
many illegal immigrant invaders in my country who are
willing to do jobs that americans will not, why are
we sending the Border Patrol to help with hurricane
relief? Call me ignorant but I thought emergency management
would fall under the control of FEMA not the border
patrol.
Need proof that Bush may be an
Idiot!
